Day N4 - 13 - Preparing for a Cherry Blossom Viewing

Visual exercise: Daily N4 - Day 13

What this practice will help you express

This practice will help you respond to specific situations, ask what action would be best, and explain the purpose behind an action or preparation. These functions are used in situations involving school, events, invitations, lost belongings, payments, and planning activities with other people.

You will work on using ~なら to respond to a particular condition or topic, such as choosing what to do if the weather is good or recommending something when discussing a place or event. The conditional form with いいですか helps you ask what you should do when you need instructions or advice. You will also use ~ために to explain the purpose of actions, preparations, study, or choices.

The vocabulary focuses on school life, preparation and review, upcoming plans, cherry-blossom viewing, invitations, scenery, food such as grapes and rice cakes, and practical matters such as cards, cash, lost items, and deliveries. These themes appear in planning a hanami outing and preparing for a cultural event.

After completing this practice, you should be better able to make situation-based suggestions, ask how or where to do something, explain why you are preparing or studying, and discuss plans for school or seasonal events.

Shadowing Exercise
