Visual exercise: Daily N3 - Day 1
Summary: A person who has just moved wants to make a new library card. The staff explains how to fill out the form and gives information about holiday closing days and returning books. After the card is made, the person wants to borrow a book.

5. Visual Writing Exercise
If you finished the Text Recreation Exercise, try this additional Visual Writing Exercise. The picture shows the actions and situation only. There is no dialogue in the image. Use the scenes to imagine what the characters are saying.
Then, write your own short Japanese text or dialogue describing the situation.
Try to use the target vocabulary and grammar, but you may also use other words and grammar you know.
Theme: Library Card After Moving
Situation: You moved to a new city yesterday, and today you are going to the municipal library to get a library card. At the counter, you need to fill out a form, but you do not have a pen, so you ask to borrow one. The staff member asks for identification, confirms your information, and explains the library’s opening hours. You want to borrow a book before the library closes and ask whether you can return it through the book drop during the New Year holiday.
