Visual exercise: Daily N4 - Day 3
Summary: Two people plan to visit a Kabuki exhibition at a museum tomorrow. They already have tickets and expect to learn about traditional Japanese culture. They agree to follow the museum rules, be careful inside, and meet at the station on time.

3. Listening Dictation
Listen carefully to each sentence and transcribe exactly what you hear. Repeat the audio if necessary and pay close attention to pronunciation, particles, and grammar. After finishing, compare your transcription with the original sentence and review any mistakes.

5. Visual Writing Exercise
If you finished the Text Recreation Exercise, try this additional Visual Writing Exercise. The picture shows the actions and situation only. There is no dialogue in the image. Use the scenes to imagine what the characters are saying.
Then, write your own short Japanese text or dialogue describing the situation.
Try to use the vocabulary and grammar from this lesson, but you may also use other words and grammar you know.
Theme: Traditional Theater Visit
Situation: You and a Japanese friend have made plans to go see a very popular traditional Japanese theater play. You meet at the station and walk to the theater. Once inside, there is an exhibition about the history of this art form and a counter where you can rent audio guides with explanations in several languages. You pick up an audio guide and enter the auditorium. Before it starts, your friend reminds you that you need to turn off your phone and that you are not allowed to take photos during the performance. You sit down, the play begins, and, thanks to the audio guide, you can clearly hear the explanations and see the stage well. At the end, you comment on how incredible the experience was and how fascinating Japanese culture is.
